From years of experience, Inkerij knows that “power is built locally.” This understanding, when it is strategically exercised, can not only be developed but transform a community into a more vibrant, sustainable common ground for its members, organizations, and leaders. Creating community-based strategies not only raises one’s awareness but provides a beneficial education on how to build power (capacity) that extends beyond oneself.
The idea is to move people, resources, and talents towards well-designed smart goals that will benefit the whole; (b) create political influence that will help constituents be heard locally and move into statewide engagement; (c) align both a and b to protect a group’s narrative, historical legacy, and adhere to principles around how a struggling group should be perceived. More importantly, we work to debunk any and all negative propaganda that would smear a person or group’s plight for social justice.
#Project2192 intends to prophetically establish a sense of belonging and re-introduce community organizing as a strategic tool to achieve success on local and state policies and propositions starting in California.
#Project2192 will exercise an universal approach in faith-based communities that builds multi-faith solidarity to motivate change and the way we organize. Inkerij is a part of PICO California and Faith in Action’s networks, both of which have solid reputations as changemaking organizations. Our objective is to initiate a meaningful, intentional, and strategic change at buiilding leaders. Learn more how we can make a difference in Los Angeles County and throughout the State of California.
Respectfully…
