Rev. Zachary Hoover
Community Building
Rev. Zachary is the Executive Director of LA Voice, a multi-racial, multi-faith community organization that awakens people to their own power, training them to speak, act, and work to transform LA County to reflect the dignity of all people. He holds a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and is ordained in the American Baptist Church. Rev. Zachary is in his 18th year organizing with PICO California and Faith in Action.
Aziza Hasan
Dialogue and Conflict Resolution
Aziza, named an influencer by the Chronicle of Philanthropy, is the Executive Director of NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership For Change. She is an experienced mediator and conflict transformation practitioner with extensive experience in program management and coalition building. Aziza served on President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships from 2015 to 2016.
Margari Hill
Advisory and Strategy
Margari is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative, a human rights education organization. She is also a freelance writer published in How We Fight White Supremacy (2018) Time, Huffington Post, and Al Jazeera English. She earned her master’s degree in History of the Middle East and Islamic Africa from Stanford University in 2006.
Jose Osuna
Advisor
Jose is the Founder of Restored Ink and a leading voice in serving the gang-impacted and formerly incarcerated. He is a former Director at Homeboy Industries. Jose has spoken across the nation, in the U.S. Congress, and The White House. He also serves as a member of the Los Angeles County Public Safety Realignment Team, representing the 4th District for Supervisor Janice Hahn.
AMELAH EL-AMIN
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Amelah is currently a board member of Lighthouse Mosque in Oakland. She is the Co-founder of MU’EED and the Executive Program Director of their Eating Rights project. Amelah has been combating food scarcity for over 25 years. She says, “We must be the change we want to see!”
