Faith-in-Action is excited to introduce “Remixing Faith” honorees who will be honored at the 50th anniversary event in Washington D.C. Talented organizers from across the country are putting their faith into action to create a future of love, dignity, and liberation for all.
- Allyssa Wright, (NM CAFe) We are honoring Allyssa with the Rising Youth award for her leadership in the Las Cruces community.
- Heidi Carolina Zelaya de Henriquez (COFOA) As a grassroots leader in El Salvador, we’re honoring Heidi for her work to build power and bring justice across borders.
- Umar A. Hakim-Dey (INKERIJ Foundation, LA Voice) will be honored for his decades of impact organizing Muslim communities and Downtown Los Angeles Skid Row community for the unhoused.
- Viola Katusiime (Granite State Organizing Project) who has put it all on the line in the Fight for 15.
