As Aalamu Alaykum Inkerij Family,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the founder and leader of Inkerij Umar Hakim-Dey.
He worked endlessly to ensure that Inkerij was promoted on a pedestal that stood for something larger than himself. Along with promoting leadership in social spaces, he also did the same at home. He taught his children to stand up for what is right, even in times when no one is listening. With that being said, the legacy of Inkerij will be continued through diligent and guided work. As his children, we will continue to honor his work and contributions over the last 15 years.
Thank you to everyone who supported him in this life and will continue to support him in the next. All sales will be halted until January 2026, as we are trying to get things in order and ensure a smooth transition.
